Home delivery menu & order tracking
orderqo Home service gives your kitchen a branded customer menu and delivery-only workflow, without table or room selection. Manage preparation, assigned delivery partners, available tracking and PIN handover separately from POS and qrgrow.
A direct menu for a delivery-only food business
orderqo Home service is for a food business that wants its own branded delivery menu rather than a dine-in table workflow. Customers browse dish photos, categories, prices and current availability using a shared menu link. Owners maintain the menu and configure their own delivery details. Guests do not select a table or room; the business service type keeps those dine-in choices out of the page. This product is distinct from the platform food marketplace and from delivery-partner registration. A direct shop menu identifies the specific kitchen receiving the order, while a marketplace can present several eligible businesses. Review the correct destination before sharing a QR on packaging or social media. Use real food descriptions and clear contact details, and test the customer page with your saved business branding. A attractive menu still needs accurate availability, staff attention and a valid delivery setup to support an actual order.
Set a service area and explain delivery charges
Home service supports an owner-set distance limit and delivery charges calculated from the saved business configuration. The direct Home workflow can use a fixed charge plus a per-kilometre charge; the payable total is computed by the backend rather than trusted from a customer’s browser. Configure the business location before relying on a radius check. Explain the relevant delivery fee at checkout, and do not reuse a sample charge from a demo as your live rate. Platform marketplace pricing is a separate workflow with its own trusted quote and controls. Customers may need to share a location for the direct delivery eligibility check, together with the required order details. If location permission is unavailable or the saved shop position is incorrect, resolve that problem instead of promising that every address is deliverable. Review an actual quoted total before accepting payment, and keep historical order charges as saved rather than recalculating them from a later configuration.
Manage preparation and assigned delivery partners
The shop orders screen provides the operational view of incoming delivery orders. Staff update preparation progress according to their authorized access, and an assigned delivery partner handles the delivery actions available to that account. Owners can manage eligible partner accounts and the customer-facing visibility of partner contact details. A kitchen account should not be treated as an owner account simply because the screens look similar. Open the order detail to review the saved items, customer information permitted for that role and available support messages. A partner should check the assigned order before recording pickup or delivery proof. Photographs document the handover within the order workflow; a demonstration image is not proof of a real delivery. Make sure the shop and partner have a practical process for exceptions such as unavailable dishes or a customer who cannot receive the order. Software status alone does not replace the business’s communication responsibilities.
Live location and arrival time have conditions
Customer tracking can show the available delivery status, assigned partner, vehicle information and proof photos. Partner location updates need device permission, connectivity and a usable active delivery screen. A marker should be interpreted together with its freshness: an old position is not proof that the rider is still there. Arrival estimates depend on available fresh location and the relevant delivery stage. Saved shop targets and countdowns use server time, but an estimate is not a guarantee of arrival within a particular minute. Map availability can differ by deployed domain and provider configuration, with an available fallback where supported. Test the workflow on the actual phone and connection used by your partner before advertising continuous live tracking. A sample moving bike in a demo is an illustration, not a measurement of a rider. Customers should be able to inspect their order’s current saved state without mistaking a demonstration for a live delivery.
PIN, proof and order support at handover
The Home delivery workflow uses a private six-digit customer PIN and delivery proof for completion by the assigned partner. The customer should share the PIN at the handover rather than publishing it with the menu or sending it to unrelated accounts. Confirmation is checked by the backend; a button tap or an unverified old completion path should not be treated as successful fulfillment. Order support can connect the customer, shop and assigned partner through the permitted order conversation. Internet calling depends on browser microphone access, connectivity and the available network relay; a closed browser cannot be promised to behave like a normal telephone call. Notifications and sound also depend on permission and device behavior. Test these controls with your real team and phones. During a public demonstration, use labelled sample messages and delivery states, never contact a real customer or claim that a sample PIN proves an actual handover.
Launch with the right plan and business details
Compare Home service plans separately from QR Menu, POS and qrgrow. The current catalogue controls price, features, resource limits and access; a price printed in an older brochure should not replace the checkout summary. Approved accounts can prepare their dashboard during the seven-day Starter trial, but paid access is required for customers to open the public menu. Keep the saved business name, logo, contact details and location accurate before sharing the link. Configure the service area and charges, then inspect the customer checkout and the staff order detail using an authorized test. Validate physical phone location and partner handover separately from a desktop preview. If an integration is not ready, describe what works now rather than advertising automatic payment verification, uninterrupted GPS or guaranteed arrival. Contact orderqo for account approval and setup help, and keep your individual kitchen identity prominent on the customer menu.
